Pathos: 고통 Pathos. 내면의 비통함을 외부로 끌어내 울음이 터지도록 하는 설득법 Pathtique: 비창, 비통함. 주로 음악이나 예술에서 쓴느 단어로 Pathos의 형용사형 Pathetic 딱한, 불쌍한 > '불쌍한 놈'이라는 욕 You need to tone down your logos and crank up your pathos. 논리를 줄이고 감성적인 부분을 좀 늘려 보는 것이 어때? Early 20th Centruy art has a bit too much of 'pathetique' for my taste. 내 취향에 비해서 20세기 초반의 예술은 '비통함'이 너무 많다.  I can't believe I couldn't speak a word to her. She probably thinks I am pathetic.
