구글 지도로 보더라도 엄청난 크기의 리조트 풀(Swimming Pool)을 보유하고 있는 세부 막탄에 있는 탐불리 씨사이드 리조트 앤 스파입니다.
 
4성급 호텔로, 아고다 캐쉬백 또는 비수기 기준으로 15만원~16만원 정도하는 리조트 입니다.

구글지도로 보면 탐불리 시사이드가 여러곳에 적혀 있는 걸 보실 수 있습니다.
네 맞습니다. 저거 전체가 탐불리 씨사이드입니다. 넓어요. 그리고 위쪽에 탐불리 시사이드라고 되어 있는 곳부터 검문검색이 시작되어서 경비가 지키고, Tambuli Residences 구역에 또 한번 철창이 있어서 경비와 마주하게 됩니다.
정말 안전하다는 느낌이 많이 듭니다.
 
대신 그렇기 때문에, 막탄의 다른 시내에 가기가 좀 귀찮아지는 부분이 있습니다.
다행히 그랩 기사들을 잘 통과시켜줘서 호텔 로비에서 바로 바로 그랩을 이용할 수 있어서 크게 불편함은 없습니다.
 

 
위치 ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
위치는 막탄 공항에서 20분 거리인데, 픽업/드랍되는 마사지 업체에서는 다 와주는 정도이고 리조트 라인에 걸쳐 있어서 무난합니다. 다만, 뉴 막탄이나 세이브모어 마트 같이 나름 유명 명소와는 조금 떨어져 있어서 GRAB을 자주 이용해야 하긴 합니다.
그런데 이건 진짜 딴 리조트도 다 동일한 거 같아요
 

 
리조트 시설 ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
리조트는 총 4동으로 되어 있는데 B Tambuli는 지금 공사중이어서 비계(아시바)로 둘러싸여져 있습니다. (24년 9월 기준)
A동, C동이 있는데 저는 A동에 있었습니다. 시설 중에 특이한 부분이 삼성 세탁기가 있어서, 빨래를 바로 할 수 있다는 부분이 좋은데 빨리 안말라서.. 그냥 수영복 탈수용으로 써야 해요. 하루 정도 여유 있다면 세탁도 가능하죠 ㅎㅎ
그리고 취사도 가능합니다. 전자렌지도 있고 인덕션도 있고, 기본 물도 500ml 4병을 줘서 그것도 좋네요.
화장실은 좀 좁은 편입니다. 안에 세탁기도 있고 해서 더 좁기는 해요. 디럭스라서 그렇죠. 돈 더 많으면 더 좋은 방으로...
레지던스라고 보면 편합니다.
 
에어컨은 시원하고, 고전적(?)인 아크릴 키링의 묵직함이 특징이죠. 보안카드가 아니고 키를 사용합니다. 그래서 에어컨 키고 나가도 된다는 장점(?)이..
룸클리닝 청소는 나름 상당히 깨끗히 해주는 느낌이 듭니다. 
 

룸서비스 ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
룸서비스는 객실내에 QR코드를 통해 확인이 가능합니다.
여긴 화덕 피자가 나름 유명하고, 거의 동일한 내용을 사이드풀 바에서도 요청 가능합니다.
룸서비스를 받으시려면 간단한 영어 소통은 필요합니다.
가격이 바깥보다 비싼건 어쩔 수 없어요.
 
 
수영장 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
수영장은 진짜 광활합니다.
깊이와 넓이가 다양한 7가지 풀이 있다고 하는데, 현실적으로 이용할 수 있는 건 5개 정도입니다.
그정도만 해도 나름 나쁘지 않았어요
썬베드(Sunbed)는 부족함 없이 수영장을 삥 둘러서 있는데,너무 자연친화(?) 적이어서 개미가 항상 있습니다. 개미를 털어내고 누워야 합니다.
 

풀사이드 바에서는 DJ가 항상 음악을 틀어주고, 3시인가 4시쯤엔 에어로빅 타임도 있습니다. 
 
 
해피아워의 진실 ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆
풀사이드 바에서는 해피아워(Happy Hour)를 2시부터 6시까지 시행하는데, 와 Buy 1 Take 1, 원쁠러스 원이네! 싶어서 주문을 해봤는데 자세히 살펴보니, 원래 기본 메뉴에서 해피아워 메뉴가 70~80 PHP 정도 더 높이 책정되어 있다는 사실을 알았습니다!! 충격..
뭐 2개 값보다는 싸긴 싸니.. 하지만, 뭔가 통수 맞은 느낌이었어요.
 

 

 
조식 ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
조식은 그야말로 무난 그자체입니다. 7시부터 10시까지 인가 그렇습니다. 
샐러드채소는 단일, 빵 종류는 다양하게 있고
고기류는 좀 있지만 만족스럽지는 않아요.
에그사이드에는 보일드 에그(Boiled Egg, 삶은 달걀), 써니사이드업(Sunnyside Up, 계란후라이), 계란말이(오믈렛) 등이 있어서 취향껏 먹을 수 있습니다.
커피머신이 있고, 옆에는 3가지 종류의 망고주스, 레몬워터, 그냥 워터 정도 있구요.
과일도 수박, 파인애플, 망고 같은 걸로 3가지가 하루 하루 바뀝니다.
 

디파짓 ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
디파짓(Deposit)은 호텔에서 입실할 때 보증금조로 받아놓고, 추후에 풀사이드 바 같은데서 이용한 금액을 차감하거나 파손된 부분이 있으면 체크아웃때 정산을 하는 제도인데,
1박에 2000 PHP 를 받습니다. ㅎㅎ
이걸 꼭 기억하고 가져가셔야 합니다. 나중에 돈이 말릴수가 있어요! 3박이면 6000 PHP인데, 그러면 하루 놀 예산이 갑자기 사라지는 경험을 하게 됩니다. 
내부에 헬스장, 놀이방, 수상스포츠 체험도 있어서 이런걸 즐길 때 이용하면 됩니다.
 
 
기타시설 ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
기타 시설로 헬스장이 있고, 놀이방이 있습니다. 놀이방은 1층에서 시간대 별로 결제를 하고 2층으로 올라가는 구조입니다. 
헬스장은 정말 시원하고 쾌적해서 운동할 맛이 납니다.

내부 바다는...
세부의 바다를 즐기러 온사람은 전혀 볼 필요 없는 수준입니다.
바다는 호핑이나 오슬롭 가시던지 해서 좋은 바다 보세요
 

 
전체적으로 4성급 호텔에 관리 잘되어 있고, 사람들이 친절하고, 안전하고 
호캉스 즐기기에는 더할 나위 없습니다.
 
물론 5성급 호텔에 비할바냐지만은 가성비까지 따지면 오히려 탐불리가 더 낫지 않나 싶어요.

Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa, located in Cebu Mactan, boasts an enormous swimming pool, which you can easily see on Google Maps.

This is a 4-star resort, and during the off-season or with Agoda cashback, it costs around 150,000 to 160,000 KRW per night.

 

If you look on Google Maps, you will see several areas labeled as Tambuli Seaside. Yes, that's right. The entire area is Tambuli Seaside. It's quite vast. Security checks start at the top where it says "Tambuli Seaside," with guards stationed there. You encounter more guards at the Tambuli Residences area, where there is another gate. It definitely feels very safe.

Because of this, however, it can be a bit inconvenient to visit other parts of Mactan. Fortunately, Grab drivers are allowed to pass through easily, so you can use Grab right from the hotel lobby, which makes things quite convenient.

 

Location ★★★☆☆

The location is about 20 minutes from Mactan Airport, and massage parlors that offer pick-up/drop-off services usually come here. It is quite convenient since it’s along the resort line. However, it’s a bit far from popular spots like New Mactan or Savemore Mart, so you'll need to use Grab frequently. But this seems to be the case with other resorts as well.

 

Resort Facilities ★★★★☆

The resort consists of four buildings, but B Tambuli Tower is currently underconstruction for repair and surrounded by scaffolding (as of September 2024). There are also buildings A and C, and I stayed in A.

 

A unique feature is the Samsung washing machine in the room, which is great for doing laundry right away. However, clothes don’t dry quickly, so it’s mainly useful for drying swimwear. If you have an extra day, you can do laundry properly.

 

Cooking is also possible, as there is a microwave, an induction cooker, and they provide four 500ml bottles of water, which is nice. The bathroom is a bit cramped, especially since there is a washing machine inside. This is typical for deluxe rooms—better rooms are available if you have more budget.

Think of it as a residence.

 

The air conditioning is super cool, and the heavy, classic acrylic key ring is notable. It’s not a security card but a key, so you can leave the air conditioner running while you're out, which is an advantage(?). Room cleaning is quite thorough and clean.

 

Room Service ★★★☆☆

Room service can be checked via a QR code in the room. The brick-oven pizza here is somewhat famous, and you can also order almost the same menu at the poolside bar. Basic English communication is needed if you want room service. It’s naturally more expensive than outside.

 

Swimming Pool ★★★★★

The swimming pool is indeed expansive. There are said to be seven different pools with varying depths and sizes, but realistically, about five of them are usable. Even so, that's not bad.

Sunbeds surround the pool without any shortage, but they are so nature-friendly that ants are always present. You have to brush them off before lying down.

The poolside bar always has a DJ playing music, and around 3 or 4 PM, there is an aerobics session.

 

Happy Hour Reality ★★☆☆☆

The poolside bar offers Happy Hour from 2 PM to 6 PM. You might think, "Wow, Buy 1 Take 1, or 1+1!"

 

So I ordered, but upon closer inspection, I found that the Happy Hour menu prices are actually set 70-80 PHP higher than the regular menu! Quite a shock... While it’s still cheaper than buying two, it felt like a bit of a trick.

 

Breakfast ★★★☆☆

Breakfast is quite average. It’s available from around 7 to 10 AM. There is a limited selection of salad greens, but a variety of bread is offered. There are some meat options, but they are not particularly satisfying. At the egg station, you can choose from boiled eggs, sunny-side-up, or omelets, depending on your preference.

There is a coffee machine, and next to it are three kinds of drinks: mango juice, lemon water, and plain water. The fruit selection usually rotates among watermelon, pineapple, and mango.

 

Deposit ★★★☆☆

A deposit is required when checking in, to cover any incidental charges or damages, which is settled at checkout. They charge 2,000 PHP per night. Remember this! You could end up short on cash later. For a three-night stay, that’s 6,000 PHP, which can eat into your daily budget.

There are a gym, a playroom, and water sports activities on the premises, which you can enjoy using this deposit.

 

Other Facilities ★★★★☆

Other facilities include a gym and a playroom. The playroom is structured so that you pay on the first floor based on the time slot and then go up to the second floor. The gym is really cool and pleasant, making it an enjoyable place to work out.

 

Beach Inside the Resort ★☆☆☆☆

The beach inside the resort... If you came to Cebu to enjoy the ocean, you won't need to bother with it. For a better beach experience, go for island hopping or visit Oslob.

Overall, the hotel is well-maintained, with friendly staff and a high level of safety. It’s great for a staycation.

Of course, it may not compare to a 5-star hotel, but considering the value for money, Tambuli might be the better choice.

 

 

 

Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa is a recommended staycation spot in Cebu.
